Thursday, February 15th, 2008 - - - - - Task #100, oui oui

Yesterday. Photography workshop

I'm still on my task #100 of my list, taking a picture that I'm happy about every single day for a year. I think I'm sticking to it quite well. Oh well, it's only been a week..
I did a 3 hours photography workshop yesterday, which pretty much came down to a famous photographer telling us about his work. Showing lots of stuff he made. And then going out to take pictures with the advise he gave us. And the picture up here is one of my favorites. There was a wedding going on where we walked passed and the balloons at the entrance looked pretty. And, I thought, even more pretty with the light of a lamp standard behind it.
I don't like how my camera is ubersensitive to movement when it's on 'night-scenery'. It makes everything so shaky.
I definately need a tripod for pictures like those.

That isn't even on my list. I just thought of that. I'll think about it some more and maybe save some money for it.

Tuesday, February 12th, 2008 - - - - - Task #100, yet again

I got a little nostalgic today

And I gotta say I love this picture. It's a bit of a variation on the picture I took the 10th of February, but I think I like this one a lot more. Simply because of the beautiful blue sky background.
What do you think?

The weather is so spring-ish today! It's lovely. I had to walk everywhere because my bike broke down, but I didn't mind at all. The best thing about spring is that there's peoples' windows open and you can hear them singing along to songs. I gives me a warm feeling inside. I love that.
I think in a few minutes I'll work on task #61 & #68 of my To-do-list. Just because it's fun and spring's coming, lol.

Rate the picture please!

Monday, February 11th, 2008 - - - - - Task #100, still

I'm sticking to my 'picture-a-day'-task.
Even though this one isn't as pretty as the one I took yesterday, I think.. I was so sunny outside this morning that I decided to take a pretty picture. But just a picture of the sun wouldn't do. So I made it through my unused hip & purple vase. I pretty much like the effect. But wait, give me about half an hour and I'll hate it.

I just did my grocery shopping and I got so annoyed by what a mess my head was. I must've gone through the shop at least 5 times front to back because I forgot stuff. And I just realised I forgot about the potatoes. *sigh* Sometimes I tire myself to no end.

I've got some studying to do. What's got to be done, got to be done. Sadly.

February 10th, 2008 - - - - - First picture

It's flowery. It's beautiful. It's fresh!

As of now, I'm starting on the 101 tasks to be reached-list. This first picture of the flowers in my room is the very first day of taking a picture every single day for a year (task No. 100).
Just because I'm at my 100st task, doesn't mean I'm almost there. I've got another 364 days to take pictures and after & during that, another 100 tasks to accomplish. Do you have a list like that? Or do you just make them in your head? I think this is very useful, I might even end up feeling good about myself for achieving my goals lol.

On a brighter note, Hi!. This is me, this is my new place on the web.
I've had it for quite some time, but never got around to actually doing something about it. Darn, that should've been on my list too, at least then I would've finished one task.. .
This is place if for me to let my thoughts go and for you to read. Don't expect me to put up all sorts of visitors content. I'm not that ambitious.
Since I'm new to the web, you might wanna read something about me and I'd like it if you left a comment so I know who you are too. Yeah.
I'll blog again soon..!

Oh, one more thing. I think I need a bit of help with my css.. Something goes wrong consequently with my 'normal' links.
The visited, hovered & active ones are okay :/
